Ceramic Coatings

What is a Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coatings are a permanent or semi-permanent solution that protect you car's paint from external damage. A ceramic coating is liquid polymer that chemically bonds with your car's paint surface, which acts as a hydrophobic shield to UV damage, weather erossion, acid rain, pollution, fallout, bird droppings, tree sap and more.

Why Should I get a Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coatings help enhance the clarity and reflection of your paint while providing a layer of protection from debris. A ceramic coating will extend the life of your paint.

How Durable is it?

The Dura-Coating Technology Coating that we use is rated at 10H which is almost as hard as a diamond. A ceramic is like another clear coat for you paint that is much harder, stronger and more scratch resistant. It is a common misconception that ceramic coatings prevent against stone chips, while they do provide protection against light scratching they do not prevent rock chips. If our ceramic is properly maintained it is predicted to last 5-7 years.

Process to Applying a Ceramic Coating

Wash and Degrease

The first stage of applying a ceramic coating involves a thorough wash of the vehicle including the use of a special degreaser to remove tougher dirt and grime.

Paint Correction

The paint preparation is crucial to ensure  the paint is in perfect condition before the coating locks it in. This involves a full clay bar of the vehicle followed by a scratch and swirl removal and completed with a polish.

Apply

At this point, the coating is applied using a cross-pattern technique. Once this tedious process is complete and the coating has cured, the vehicle is now protected for years to come.
